Happy New Year! 12/31/2008

Have a safe celebration...see you in the New Year.  It's hand-rolled home-made sushi for me.  Because everything's better handmade :) !

I've added links and links and links to the new Resources page here on the site.  NH and the Concord area offer many arts resources, so check the new page out and click around, see what you find.  I originally began compiling the list as I was developing the arts market and needing to network to make it successful.  After collecting all of this information I realized that it could be useful and inspiring to others.  If you notice that there's something I've left out or haven't found yet, please tell me and I'll be happy to add it to the page.

One of the resources I've added is the artstream gallery in Rochester.  See the info for their current exhibition below...Concord-based Megan Bogonovich is one of the featured artists...or visit their website for more information: ARTSTREAM

The holiday season is traditionally an absolute whirlwind for handcrafters and this year was no exception.  So at last, I get around to breathing life into this, the Concord Arts Market blog.  Stay tuned.  I've got some great local and regional artists to introduce you to!  In the meantime here's a new piece I just finished...a handy zipper pouch...and make sure to eyeball my last post, featuring Fiddlin' Rich....

As many of you know, the Arts Market's second weekend got totally postponed by bizarre weather reports...and one of my biggest regrets from that weekend is that we all missed out on some amazing music.  One of the musicians that got rained out that weekend was Rich Hamilton, who plays terrific old-time fiddle.  Well I just got a note from Rich that he's finished an album.  There are some clips of his music here on his MYSPACE PAGE, and I highly recommend that you check them out because they're fantastic!  His CD's are available for sale, so if you like what you hear, contact him through his MySpace page, I'm sure he'd love to hear from you.

This is officially under construction but check back later for actual content!

NH artists and artisans another high quality home for their work...as well as a place for artists and the community to connect with each other.
